One man brings nine characters to life on stage in the world premiere of Mental Creatures at the Lounge Theatre. An original play with music, Mental Creatures stars award-winning actor and singer-songwriter Jay Jacobson (P.S. Your Cat Is Dead), who also wrote the show. Funny and moving, the show centers on three characters: Jesse, a young painter on the brink of his first gallery show; Sylvia, a spunky widow who puts herself back in the dating market; and Frank, an elderly man sorting through his life on the eve of moving into an old age home.
