Bobby Child, a wealthy 1930s playboy, wants to dance, and nothing – including his mother or soon-to-be-ex-fiancee – will keep him from his dream. Along the way, there’s plenty of comedy, romance, mistaken identity, plot twists and even a few cowboys to make things interesting. Featuring a score that includes George and Ira Gershwin classics like “I Got Rhythm,” “Embraceable You,” “Someone to Watch Over Me” and many more, Crazy for You earned three Tony Awards in 1992 including Best Musical of the year.
