In Evan Smith’s acclaimed Off-Broadway comedy, Mary and Margaret are elderly sisters who share a house in Savannah, Georgia, where they indulge in BBC sitcoms and cooking dinner for their mild-mannered Catholic priest. But when Margaret invites a perky Christian missionary into their home, she finds her belief system thrown for a loop. And as soon as Mary sees her sister deluded with these new ideas of evolution and the afterlife, she invites the unassuming Father Murphy over to straighten things out, sending the four characters into a hilarious theological fracas.
