Creators & Stars of MTV’s Awkward Celebrate the Season 2 Premiere

Almost from the moment it premiered last summer, MTV’s comedy series Awkward became a hit not only with teens but anyone who had ever been a teen. The New York Times called it “the smartest, freshest, most moving new sitcom of 2011.” Now, the Paley Center celebrates the show’s second season with an advance screening of the new season’s first episode. Afterward, Entertainment Weekly‘s Tanner Stransky will moderate a panel discussion featuring stars Ashley Rickards (“Jenna Hamilton”), Beau Mirchoff (“Matty McKibben”), Brett Davern (“Jake Rosati”), Molly Tarlov (“Sadie Saxton”), Jillian Rose Reed (“Tamara”), Nikki Deloach (“Lacey”), Desi Lydic (“Valerie Marks”), Mike Faiola (“Kevin Hamilton”), Greer Grammer (“Lissa”) and Jessica Lu (“Ming Huang”) as well as the show’s creator and executive producer.
