A longtime side project of the Grateful Dead’s legendary front man, the Jerry Garcia Band lives on as Melvin Seals’ JGB. Keyboardist Seals is known as a master of the Hammond B-3 organ, having played with Garcia for almost 20 years, and ably leads the group in classic jam-band style, with a smooth mix of everything from rock, R&B, gospel and funk to blues and jazz, both acoustic and electric. A set by the band Shaky Feelin’ opens the show.
