Highways Performance Space and Gallery (Santa Monica, CA)

"Through the Labyrinth"

Highways’ summer-long Behold! Queer Performance Series kicks off with a new, site-specific production mixing music, dance and the spoken word. Subtitled Reverse the Curse of the 13th Fairy, the show was inspired by the wicked sprite from the classic fairy tale Sleeping Beauty, and seeks to banish bad luck through positivity and love — making Friday the 13th its perfect premiere date. Through the Labyrinth is conceived and produced by Vash Boddie (IMRU Radio, KPFK), Tyr Jung-Hall (producer, writer, activist) and Jay “Dicky” Lyons (artist, writer, Radical Faerie).
