It’s an evening of classic R&B and soul under the stars as the Dramatics, Con Funk Shun, Rose Royce, Klymaxx and Tierra share the stage at Jackie Robinson Park. Best known for their 1970s hits “Whatcha See is Whatcha Get” and “In the Rain,” the Dramatics, led by longtime band member L.J. Reynolds, have been entertaining audiences with their smooth soul music since 1962. Supporting acts include the eternally funky Con Funk Shun (“Chase Me”) and Rose Royce, remembered for a string of hits in 1970s including the danceable funk anthem “Car Wash” and AM radio staples “I Wanna Get Next to You” and “Wishing on a Star.”
