The music, dancing, colorful costumes and pure excitement of Rio’s Carnivale celebration take over the historic El Cid for a night, thanks to the talented Tropidanza dance ensemble. This energetic multicultural troupe, led by creator-choreographer Leila Flores, specializes in the samba, but will also bring plenty of bossa nova to this special show in a salute to beautiful Brazil. Tropidanza has performed at the Palladium in Hollywood, appeared on TV, and shared stages with Van Halen, Carlos Santana, Sergio Mendez and more.
