The winner of multiple Tony Awards three decades apart, John Kander and Fred Ebb’s legendary musical comes to Malibu Stage Company. In pre-war Berlin, circa 1930, young Kit-Cat Club singer Sally Bowles encounters a rich German politician, a young American writer and the club’s darkly comic Emcee. Featuring music by one of Broadway’s best teams, the musical contains such songs as “Wilkommen,” “Tomorrow Belongs to Me,” “Maybe This Time” and the title song “Cabaret.” The 1967 stage musical was adapted into an Oscar-winning film directed by Bob Fosse, and the 1998 Broadway revival ran for six years.
