Rita Wilson — acclaimed actress (It’s Complicated, The Good Wife), film producer (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Mamma Mia!), Broadway star (Chicago) and wife (of Tom Hanks) — shows off yet another talent as she hits the stage at the Geffen Playhouse to sing songs from her debut CD, AM/FM. Inspired by the songs she grew up with, this new release includes “Angel of the Morning,” “Never My Love,” “All I Have To Do Is Dream,” “Good Time Charlie’s Got The Blues,” “Wichita Lineman,” and many more. The concert will benefit both the Geffen Playhouse and The Actors Fund, a national human services organization that helps performing arts and entertainment professionals, serving as a safety net to provide essential services. The performance will be followed by a postshow wine and dessert reception.
