Acclaimed Italian Painist Mariangela Vacatello Performs Liszt, Debussy and More

With playing that has been described as “witty, intelligent, sparkling with personal interpretation that is seductive and charming” by Le Libre Belgique, Italian pianist Mariangela Vacatello is internationally recognized for her passionate interpretation and dazzling virtuosity. A finalist and winner of the Internet Audience Award at the 13th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009, Ms. Vacatello continues to gather international acclaim. The evening’s program will include Prelude and Fugue in A minor by Bach-Liszt, Sonata in B minor by Liszt, selected Études by Debussy and Rachmaninoff’s Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor, op. 36.
