Fierce Backbone Theatre Co. presents a world premiere murder mystery that’s so old-school it’s actually ancient with The Rock of Abandon. When blacklisted dramatist Euripides (of The Trojan Women fame) turns detective to avenge the murder of a courtesan he once loved, his investigation hurls him into a head-on collision with blackmail, treason and the charismatic general who has just beguiled Athens into launching an unnecessary war. Tiger Reel directs the show, which was written by Stephen Blackburn (Each One Teach One).
