Composer-bandleader Tim Weisberg’s melodic flute solos can be heard on some of the biggest pop-rock albums of the last 40 years, though he’s best known for his collaborations with Dan Fogelberg and David Benoit. Weisberg and Fogelberg’s 1978 disc Twin Sons of Different Mothers was certified platinum, and spawned the hit single “The Power of Gold.” The duo released another album, cheekily titled No Resemblance Whatsoever, in 1995. Weisberg’s also recently collaborated with Grammy-nominated jazz pianist David Benoit on several discs, including 2010’s Earthglow.
