Long Beach Arena – Long Beach Convention Center (Long Beach, CA)
Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion takes its name from both the dragon and the lion, blending Eastern and Western acrobatics in a stage spectacular that deals with themes of the four elements, each its own evocative color, to search for a balance between Man and Nature. Acts include aerial hoops, aerial pas de deux, hoop diving, juggling, bamboo poles, skipping ropes and the dralions themselves. Dralion was directed by Guy Caron, Cirque‘s first artistic director, with Gilles Ste-Croix serving as artistic guide.
