Musical Theatre of Los Angeles presents a concert-style performance of Disenchanted!, a new one-act musical comedy in which the original fairytale princesses (including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, Belle, Hua Mulan, Pocahontas and The One Who Kissed The Frog) leap off the bookshelves to set the record straight. This benefit performance will feature the entire show in a concert format, featuring every song and piece of dialogue as well as props, lights, curtains and much of the set design, though with minimal dance and costuming. Headed off-Broadway, this clever reimagining of fairytale princess culture has been hailed as “riotous,” “side-splitting” and “hilarious” by the New York Post.
