In its West Coast debut, this farcical dark comedy about office workers marks the inaugural production of Green Card Theatre. The new theater specializes in translating contemporary works from outside the United States, and Slipped Disc is no exception: It was written by German playwright Ingrid Lausund and translated into English by Henning Bochert. In this surreal story, the five office workers don’t just confront uncertainties about their jobs, but they also face the daily threat of an execution.
