The Nutcracker: South Bay Ballet Presents Tchaikovsky’s Holiday Favorite

The nationally recognized South Bay Ballet delivers a holiday treat for ballet audiences who are looking for classically trained dancers and a creative, accessible interpretation of Tchaikovsky’s classic, The Nutcracker. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the timeless story of young Clara, who dreams that her toy nutcracker soldier comes to life. Together they experience a fantastical adventure that leads them through an epic battle with the Mouse King to the Sugar Plum Fairy’s magical Kingdom of Sweets. Under the artistic direction of Diane Lauridsen, this production of The Nutcracker at the Marsee Auditorium features choreography by Charles Maple.
