What would do you for five million dollars? Practically anything, right? That’s the question facing a group of ordinary people in Jon Polito and Darryl Armbruster’s world premiere comedy 86’d. The sleepy late-night world of a New York diner is turned upside down when an elderly customer drops dead from a heart attack — right after learning that he’s won five million bucks in the lottery. The remaining customers and restaurant staff now have a dilemma on their hands. Who’s going to get the cash? And how many will have to die to get the answer?
