Terrace Theater (Long Beach, CA)

Conductor Enrique Arturo Diemecke and violinist Elmar Oliveira lead the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra’s concert featuring classical works from Rossini, Saint-Saens and Debussy. The orchestra will perform Rossini’s “Barber of Seville Overture,” a two-act opera notable for its comedy within the music. Also on the lineup is “Violin Concerto No. 3 in B Minor,” composed by French conductor and pianist Saint-Saens in 1880. From Debussy’s extensive body of works, the Long Beach Symphony Orchestra will be performing “Nocturnes” and “La Mer.” A concert talk will take place an hour before the show begins.
