Spend New Year’s Eve with the rock band who’s been creating hits like “The Distance,” “Never There” and “Short Skirt/Long Jacket” since their debut, self-produced album Motorcade of Generosity was released in 1994. The album was named one of the best indie releases of the year by Pulse! and became so popular that it was re-released by Capricorn Records a year later. In 2007, Cake formed their own label, Upbeat Records, and released their own compilation album of live tracks and B-sides. Their 2011 album opened at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums and the Sacramento band has toured extensively throughout Europe and North America. This is a chance to celebrate with Cake at The Wiltern’s final concert of 2012.
