Contemporary Dance at Backhausdance’s 10th Anniversary Performance

Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Orange County’s Backhausdance contemporary dance company with a special performance of mixed repertory athletic dances and dramatic pieces from award-winning choreographer Jennifer Backhaus. Backhaus’ works have been commissioned and produced by the Los Angeles Ballet, Orange County Regional Ballet, Orange County Arts Center and more. New York City’s Joyce Theater recently named Backhausdance one of seven emerging dance companies to watch in North America. The one-night-only repertory includes signature pieces “Duets(s)” and “Sitting on January” as well as a world premiere.
