For one night only, join Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and pianist Carol King at the Dolby Theatre for a special star-studded concert to benefit Paul Newman’s The Painted Turtle Camp, a camp that provides support to children with serious illnesses. You’ve Got a Friend: A Celebration of Carol King and Her Music will be hosted by legendary composer and producer Quincy Jones, who’s produced hits for Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra. Iconic musicians and singers Herb Alpert, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Lani Hall, Alicia Keys, John Legend and Katy Perry will join Quincy and King on stage for an evening of powerhouse performances from some of the music industry’s biggest players and most distinct talents. Over her long-spanning career, King has recorded more than 25 solo albums, including Tapestry, which topped the U.S. album charts for 15 weeks in 1971 and remained on the charts for more than six years. Her numerous hits include “You’ve Got A Friend,” “I Feel the Earth Move” and “It’s Too Late.”
