Paolo Andino stars in a return holiday engagement of The Santaland Diaries, a solo show based on a David Sedaris story. It’s the outrageously funny tale of Sedaris’ employment as an embittered elf at Macy’s in New York. At first the job is simply humiliating, but once the thousands of visitors start pouring through Santa’s workshop, Crumpet the Elf becomes battle weary and bitter, occasionally taking out his frustrations on the children and parents alike. Andino is best known for his two seasons on LOGO’s Big Gay Sketch Show. The production is directed by award-winning director Michael Matthews.
