The California Guitar Trio (CGT) and Montreal Guitar Trio (MG3) join forces for a one-night-only sextet performance featuring guitarists from four countries — Japan, Canada, Belgium and the United States — and more than 40 years of combined performing experience. The international six-piece heralded as “phenomensemble” will present original guitar compositions and new arrangements of progressive rock, world, jazz and classical music. California Guitar Trio’s steel stringed guitars blend in harmony with Montreal Guitar Trio’s nylon stringed guitars for a genre-bending and intricately wrought live collaboration of guitar virtuosos.
