Award-winning Russian dance group Jazz Ballet of Valery Tereshkin comes to Glendale’s historic Alex Theatre. The critically acclaimed group’s 22 talented dancers, directed by choreographer Valery Tereshkin, represent a unique take on jazz dance culture while still reflecting Russia’s outstanding classical ballet tradition. In addition to performances around the world, Jazz Ballet of Valery Tereshkin has appeared at numerous prestigious festivals, including the Jazz Dance World Congress in Chicago. For this show, they’ll perform an exciting program entitled Territory of Jazz.
