Crown City Theatre Company performs Stephen Sondheim’s Company, winner of multiple Tony Awards in both its original staging and Broadway revivals. It’s Bobby’s 35th birthday and he’s still single, unable to commit to much of anything. His best friends, five married couples, and his three girlfriends gather to celebrate. Through a series of vignettes, the musical reflects on connections and commitments, marriage and contemporary relationships. Company includes the hit song “Being Alive,” plus “Another Hundred People” and “The Ladies Who Lunch.”
