Armstrong Theatre at Torrance Cultural Arts Center (Torrance, CA)

Torrance Cultural Arts Foundation presents an evening of three one-act operas collectively known as Il Trittico by Giacomo Puccini. The operas — Il tabarro, Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi — originally premiered at the Metropolitan Opera in 1918. See Puccini’s operas on the big screen during this movie showing of Il Trittico, which was performed by the San Francisco Opera and filmed in a high-definition, multi-camera shoot. Il Trittico is presented in Blu-Ray with stereo sound. During intermissions, watch behind the scenes footage of the San Francisco Opera as they film this movie of operatic proportions.
