Katselas Theatre Company presents Focus Group Play at L.A.’s Skylight Theatre. The company’s 11th world premiere in just two years, the show was chosen from seven new works, fresh out the Playlab program. Six strangers occupy a room for 90 minutes, and are encouraged to share their opinions about a food manufacturer’s new product. Sounds simple — it’s a common marketing activity, with lots of controls built in. However, chaos quickly takes over, turning this carefully chosen group into an out-of-control dark comedy. Don’t miss the laughs and surprises as the situation brings out the worst in seemingly the best of all people.
