The Grand Irrationality: World Premiere Comedy at the Lost Studio
The Lost Studio (Los Angeles, CA)
Guy Proud’s life is just a little out of whack. He’s sleeping with Nina, but he’s in love with Vivienne. His estranged father, Murray, breaks his leg and has to move in with Guy and his sister Rose, who’s working through her post-partem depression by obsessively baking cakes. That’s the misaligned universe of the world premiere British comedy The Grand Irrationality. Written by novelist-playwright-screenwriter Jemma Kennedy (Evensong, Skywalking), The Grand Irrationality fittingly takes its title from a phrase in astrology that signifies when the planets are all out of alignment and nothing adds up. John Pleshette (ofKnots Landing fame) directs.
