The Paco Peña Flamenco Dance Company brings Flamenco Vivo! to the Valley Performing Arts Center’s Great Hall. Accompanied by a top-notch group of dancers, the guitarist and composer combines the deep roots of Spanish flamenco with innovative musical techniques, creating a show that feels authentic, fresh, and passionately emotional. Accompanied by his fiery dancers, vocalists and a percussionist, Peña explores the tribal roots of flamenco, from the alboreá (a Gypsy wedding song) to the razor-sharp complexity of the bulería (a fast, upbeat flamenco form that is often used to end a flamenco gathering on a high note).
