Carpenter Performing Arts Center, CSULB (Long Beach, CA)

Get ready for some of the best young street dancers to funk up the stage at Carpenter PAC. Best known for his internationally-renowned dance company Puremovement, hip-hop pioneer Rennie Harris created RHAW in 2007 for the best and brightest teens and young adult street dancers to bring their considerable skills and talents to a professional level. This high-energy performance includes everything from Campbell locking, popping and boogaloo to b-boy and girl to house, hip hop and beyond. Based in his hometown of Philadelphia, choreographer and dancer Harris has been honored multiple times, including winning three Alvin Ailey awards.
