Club Nokia at LA Live (Los Angeles, CA)

The largest Carnaval celebration on the West Coast returns, when the 13th annual Brazilian Carnaval transforms Club Nokia into a Brazilian dance party with authentic music, dance, costuming, parading, drink and food. Carnaval is the most anticipated holiday in Brazil, a chance to let loose and dance the night away before the beginning of Lent. The club will be infused with the true Latin party spirit, sensuality and flavors, featuring an all-star band of acclaimed international musicians curated by Chalo Eduardo (who has performed with Santana and Ricky Martin) playing classic Carnaval hits. Also performing are Bloco Nove featuring Bobby Easton, Bloco Samba 4U, DJ Chris Brazil and hoards of scantily clad, hip-shaking samba dancers. The event will be hosted by Dr. Robert M. Rey of Dr. 90210 and emceed by Brazilian television personality Giselle Claudino.
