Glendale Youth Orchestra Performs Handel’s Messiah

The Glendale Youth Orchestra, under the baton of conductor Brad Keimach, presents its second concert of the season at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale. The orchestra will present one of the most famous and most frequently performed choral works in Western music, Handel’s Messiah. Encompassing Christ’s birth, death and resurrection, Messiah includes the famous “Hallelujah” chorus which will feature vocals from the Southern California Mormon Choir. The piece also has several solos to highlight the talents of the orchestra members.
