A nameless, moral-less Dublin thug becomes caught between two small-time crime bosses and ends up involved in kidnapping and murder in The Good Thief. Soon the thug, played by award-winning actor Michael McGee, develops a rapport with his victims which leads to a moment of epiphany in this fast-paced, bullet-riddled, rain-soaked, darkly romantic and sardonically funny piece of “Dublin noir” from Dublin-born playwright Conor McPherson (The Weir, This Lime Tree Bower, Shining City). Scott Paulin, who previously teamed with McGee for a critically acclaimed 2010 production of McPherson’s St. Nicholas, directs.
