The tournament was such a blast the first time, A & C is hosting another one! Details: ——– Join us for an afternoon of nostalgia and healthy competition as part of Toronto Games Week! Play in a Mario Kart N64 Tournament or simply play casually with our selection of awesome retro video games, or bring your 3DS and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate as we will be having a gathering for that too! We’ll be setting up stations where you can play on Original Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Game Cube, and N64. Special game mentions: Super Smash Bros. Melee and Street Fighter. $5 admission for venue and an addition $5 and Mario Kart tournament entry = $10. Just show that you’ve paid through your phone or print out. Mario Kart tournament will start at 1:30 pm sharp. Make sure you arrive by then if you’d like to be in the tournament! Feel free to arrive anytime starting at 12:00pm to practice and play other retro games. Mario Kart 64 Prizes: ——————— 1st Place: $25 gift cards 2nd Place: $10 gift card 3rd Place: $5 gift card *Prize value will go up or down depending on the turnout. Mario Kart Tournament Rules: —————————- 4 Racers per round 2 circuits per round, single elimination (more rules coming up soon) Additional Information: ———————– – BYOC: Bring your own n64 controller if you have one. – Optional: Bring your DS’s and 3DS’s for Street Passes and DS Lan parties. – Feel free to show up starting at 12 pm to play casually or practice before the tournament – Game will be free to play and practice for everyone before, after (and during if we have enough set ups) the tournament.
