Since their formation in 1995, the celebrated Los Angeles culture-mashers have gone from being hometown heroes to being named U.S. State Department Cultural Ambassadors. Ozomatli combines hip-hop, salsa, dancehall, samba, funk, raga and more into an irresistible groove, and is also known for its fervent political conscience. The Grammy-winning band has travelled the world bringing distinctly SoCal music to people in Tunisia, Egypt, Mongolia, Jordan, Nepal and Myanmar. They will be performing old favorites as well as tunes from their forthcoming album. Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Wells Fargo Theatrical Diversity Project.
