For immediate release – April 8, 2013 Yorkville’s The Black Box Boutique & Homegrown Boutique partner with dessert pop company The Pop Shop for a flash sale at the Gladstone Hotel Art Bar Toronto,ON – On Saturday April 20, 2013 from 10am-6pm, 3 Toronto companies will join forces to host a flash sale at the Gladstone Hotel. Accessories by the Black Box Boutique, dessert pops by The Pop Shop along with clothing and accessories from Homegrown Boutique will be available on Queen West for one day only. Conveniently located at the corner of Queen St. W and Dufferin, the Gladstone’s Art Bar has previously housed the Fresh Canadian Accessories Pop Up presented by Homegrown Boutique this past February. All 3 businesses are female owned and operated. The Black Box Boutique is an accessories boutique located in Yorkville, which retails jewellery from both local and international designers. Newly established in September 2012, this boutique caters to both men and women carrying brands such as ToyWatch, Noir Jewelry and Vita Fede. Owner Lilla Balint will be on hand with a carefully curated selection from the boutique, including springs latest bracelets, necklaces and more. The Pop Shop is a web based dessert pop company, with made to order specialty pops in a variety of flavours including cake, marshmallow and brownie. Exclusively for this event, owner & baker Danielle Caesar will have ready made pops available for sale individually or by the dozen. Homegrown Boutique is also located in Yorkville, and exclusively retails emerging and established Canadian designers for women. Established in July 2011, Homegrown has organized and participated in several pop up shops at notable venues around the city including the Drake Hotel and Norman Felix Gallery. Committed to supporting local talent nationwide, one of a kind samples, clothing and accessories will be available at special prices for the event.
