Michael Crummey grew up in Newfoundland and Labrador. He has won numerous awards and accolades for his written work including the Thomas Head Raddall Award, the Winterset Award for Excellence in Newfoundland Writing, and the Atlantic Independent Booksellers\’ Choice Award. His work has been shortlisted for the Giller Prize, the Governor General\’s Award, and the International Dublin IMPAC award. This September, Michael Crummey returns as a trip leader on Adventure Canadas voyage to Greenland and Wild Labrador, September 5-18, 2013.
