On Tuesday April 30th, the David Suzuki Foundation and Food Forward will be hosting a lunchtime Pop-up Picnic in Torontos Grange Park. The event will feature local food vendors and music from the Lemon Bucket Orkestra, the worlds most exciting Balkan-Klezmer-Gypsy-Punk-Super-Party-Band. The Pop-up Picnic is in celebration of the launch of the David Suzuki Foundation’s 30×30 Nature Challenge (davidsuzuki.org/30x30challenge), a national campaign encouraging Canadians to get out into nature for at least 30 minutes a day for 30 days in May. People will be encouraged to bring their lunches or buy from local food vendors onsite.
