The Thompson Landry Gallery proudly presents MUES, an exhibition of over 30 new works by Montreal artist, Dominique Fortin. This incredible exhibition was previously exhibited at the Cirque du Soleil Headquarters in Montreal. Mues, is an unwavering exploration of human nature in a contemporary style, while at the same time full of raw emotion and romanticism. Using mixed materials she creates a spontaneous expression of creativity, striving to represent human nature in a way that resonates with the inner conscience of the viewer. Symbolism is a key component of Fortins work; birds and butterflies are repeated throughout this exhibition, serving as symbols of metamorphosis, transformation and rebirth.
