The World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest event dedicated to helping end global poverty. Over $75 million has been raised for poverty alleviation projects in Africa and Asia since 1985. In 2012, the Walk raised over $7 million and drew almost 40,000 people in 10 cities across the country. WHERE DO THE DONATIONS GO? 100% of funds raised go to support international development projects identified and implemented by local communities projects that revitalize a rural economy, ensure clean water and sanitation, strengthen community-based organizations and educate new generations of girls and women. Not a single cent of donations is spent on administration.
