A flamenco class leads to an unexpected journey toward faith, sisterhood and personal discovery in this world premiere production of the comedy-drama Heart Song at Fountain Theatre. Written by Stephen Sachs (Bakersfield Mist, Cyrano), this funny and touching new show centers on Rochelle, a middle-aged Jewish woman who is struggling with a crisis of faith — until flamenco comes along and fans her inner fire. Shirley Jo Finney, who helmed Fountain Theatre’s popular production of In the Red and Brown Water, directs.
