A one-hour “mini musical,” Sleeping Beauty: A Rock Opera will have parents and kids alike dancing in their seats and singing along, This fun, family-friendly show tells the beloved fairytale through a soundtrack of classic rock songs from the ’60s and ’70s. It’s a rockin’ way to stage the story of Princess Aurora, who gets put into a deep sleep by an evil black fairy — for which the only cure is true love’s first kiss. Luckily, there’s a handsome prince willing to take on the black fairy and her minions.
