It’s the perfect scene for an early summer evening out. Get Lost in the Stars with GRAMMY-winning R&B singer Patti Austin, as her rich voice sets fire to American jazz standards under the starlit sky. Austin and the MUSE/IQUE orchestra will be performing everything from John Lennon to George Gershwin, Kurt Weill to Paul Anka, with flourishes of Handel, Bach, Ellington and Dave Brubeck. A veteran on the R&B scene, Austin had hits with “Baby, Come to Me” and “Through the Test of Time,” and sang “It’s the Falling in Love” with Michael Jackson on his album Off the Wall. More recently, she’s been exploring jazz with the release of her Ella Fitzgerald tribute For Ella, and Avant Gershwin, the album that earned her a 2008 Grammy Award.
