Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet Company Celebrates Mexican Culture

Grandeza Mexicana Folk Ballet Company celebrates its tenth anniversary with a dynamic performance under the stars at the Ford Amphitheatre. For the past decade, Gradenza has brought the diverse and colorful dance tradition of Mexico to a general audience, with meticulously researched choreography drawn from Mexican folk dance and culture. For this concert, they’ll be performing Mexico Mis Raices (My Roots), an assortment of fan favorites and two new selections. Adorned with colorful costumes and accompanied by two live bands, more than 40 Grandeza dancers portray the wonderfully distinct traditions that comprise Mexican culture.
