The Southland’s award-winning chamber orchestra Pacific Serenades debuts the new work Bellscape by Emmy-winning composer Stephen Cohn, as well as performing pieces by Mozart, Poulenc and Saint-Saëns for their 27th season finale. The top area talents coming together for the concert are Jennifer Johnson (oboe) and Judith Farmer (bassoon) of the Santa Barbara Chamber Orchestra, Gary Gray (clarinet) and Richard Todd (French horn) of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra and pianist Joanna Pearce Martin of the L.A. Phil. Along with the new Cohn composition, you’ll also hear a Mozart quintet, a Poulenc trio and a sonata by Saint-Saëns.
