Saturday Night Superslam Victory Commonwealth Wrestling is drawing a huge fan base only a few short months after its monthly live debut in Toronto. Hosted by Canadas foremost mentalist, magician and psychological entertainer Mysterion, the upcoming show on June 8th in Toronto at the Mod Club is the one fans have been eagerly awaiting. Join the Retro-lution- Classic wrestling is BACK and hotter than ever. Remember the thrill of Saturday night wrestling? Come step back in time and relive the style of those days with new stars and a few faces from the past. The main attraction for the show is W.W.E. Hall of Famer and 80s Wrestling Bad Guy Nikolai Volkoff. Volkoff was a featured headliner at Madison Square Gardens battling icons like Hulk Hogan, Macho Man Randy Savage and other top stars of his day. A former WWE tag champion (Along with the Iron shiek) he was voted Most Hated wrestler in the world in the mid eighties. Volkoff has since embraced the west and battles on the side of good, however, this doesnt matter to young upstart Rex Aitkins, the remarkable wrestling technician. Aitkins vows to defeat the legend and treat him just like another notch to the top. Main Event- A final showdown between Ontario Fan favourite Buck Gunderson and Israeli Wrestling champion Goliath Ayala is a match to the finish. This match is the outcome of a tournament final for the Open Weight Championship of the world. Buck and Goliath are involved in a bitter feud for the past 5 months and this is the final showdown to decide the victor within the walls of a 15 foot high steel cage. Other matches include a 10 man Lumberjack match, Six man tag challenge and appearances by CFL and Wrestling ICON Angelo Mosca, Doink the clown, and former stars of the WWE and TNA wrestling.
