Pulling inspiration from the observation of nature and his own surroundings, Paul Brandejs visually stimulating sculpted canvases present a fresh, multi-disciplinary approach to the abstract. Physically building the canvases himself, Brandejs work travels a creative cycle that molds unusual and sometimes unexpected surfaces that support the dynamics of the paint. The works presented in his exhibition Looking Back showcase some of Brandejs most exiting pieces and will be showing at Galleria 814 from June 4th-June 29th, with the opening reception held on June 14th from 6-9pm.
