Malcolm Nex Messado of 8th Union is teaching a workshop On June 26, 6-7:30 at RIGHTFOOT STUDIO! We would love it if everyone came to support. Malcolm is a successfully graduated student from the general arts and science program at Humber and Im currently in the design foundation course. at the age of 15 Malcolm began Dancing as a self taught popper, and soon after danced for the Dance Company JHHA (Jades Hip Hop Academy). Malcolm also learned and taught workshops and St Thomas Aquinas Secondary School. Malcolm is now a dancer for OIP dance company and the leader of the crew 8th union. 8th Union Crew is a union of dancers who train in a variety of styles, but are also united by their different cultures and backgrounds. Malcolm has qualified to represent Canada at the 2011 udo championships in the UK, came 2nd in byob east toronto division and 4th in the BYOB finals with 8th Union, and has also auditioned for Canadas Got Talent and sytycd canada. he has also danced in music videos for Presca Wild, Rebecca Nazz and Cascada. Malcolm has performed at the Moon Runners Fired Up Still Jam, Nuit Blanche, Youth Day, International dance day, Dance Weekend at Harbourfront and various other charity events and performance venues. Malcolms choreography has been featured in shows like jhha cup challenge, OIPs the ring, WOD Toronto, two worlds apart charity showcase, Monsters of Hip-Hop, Rogers TV, and the bazaar . Malcolm has recently join the cast apprenticeship program directed by Danny Davalos and Angela Mahoney as well as Magen Boys entertainments who perform and teach across the gta. Malcolm has trained with Danny Davalos, Jerome freshFX Villa, Angela Mahoney, Leon Blackwood, Shavar Blackwood, Diana Reyes, Amadeus “Primal” Marquez, Mitchell Jackson, and much more. Malcolm now continues work dancing at OIP dance company as well as the cast apprenticeship program and training with his crew.
