Come out and support Vivacity, a free, two-day arts showcase presented by UforChange, an arts-based education program for youth living in Regent Park, St. James Town, and the GTA. The Vivacity weekend is a chance for UforChange participants to showcase their artwork and the skills they have developed while attending the six month program. UforChange participants come from all over the city- from Whitby to Scarborough, Jane & Finch and Brampton! Vivacity integrates the various arts workshop streams into one big show. It is a weekend packed with culture: short film screenings, a fashion show, a theatre production, photo gallery, original music, and our DJs will be spinning at Sunday in the Park, an annual event in the Regent Park community. UforChange hosts Vivacity every six months to celebrate the graduation of the youth enrolled in the program. Come out and celebrate with us! All events will be held at Daniels Spectrum (585 Dundas St. East) Vivacity Schedule: Saturday, July 6th Film, Fashion, Theatre Location: Aki Studio Time: 7:00-9:00 pm Sunday, July 7th Beats in the Park @ Sunday in the Park Time: 12:00-2:00 pm Vivacity Gallery Opening Time: 1:00-2:30 pm Encore Performance Film, Fashion, Theatre Location: Ada Slaight Hall Time: 3:00-5:00 pm This is a Pay-What-You-Can event, all funds raised will help fund the upcoming UforChange fall cycle.
